On-Site Services

At Endocrine Kids, we make sure to cater to every need of our young patients by providing several state-of-the-art on-site services to help diagnose and treat their unique conditions and circumstances. We provide:

• Telehealth Visits – These virtual visits allow for a quick and convenient check-in with your provider. If your child is doing well on their treatment regimen, alternating office visits and telehealth visits offers parents and children a much-needed break from travel to and from the doctor’s office.
• Blood Draws – Blood draws are done by our outstanding medical staff to be able to test and diagnose endocrinological diseases. Blood is the one constituent in the human body that can indicate if anything has gone array.
• Hormone Stimulation Tests – This test is done to see if the main gland, the pituitary, is releasing the appropriate amount into the bloodstream. Your child will be given one of two combinations of medicines – L-arginine and Clonidine or L- arginine and Glucagon.
• On-Site Bone Age X-Ray – A bone age X-ray provides a picture of the left hand and wrist. The X-ray allows you compare how old the body assumes it is versus how old it actually is. By this comparison, your provider is able to determine how much longer your child will grow.
